Frank Chats with Alicia provides one-on-one therapeutic support to people with disability exploring the topics of relationships and sexuality. These sessions are tailored to the needs of the individual and is available in clinic (Burwood, NSW), in home (Metropolitan Sydney) and online via Zoom.
Who is this service appropriate for?
This service is available to individuals with disability from the age of 14. Referrals for individuals under the age of 14 can be made but will be assessed on a case by case basis.
What is covered in the sessions?
Sessions are informed by the individual and their goal for the sessions. Some of the topics we cover include; respectful relationships, dating, protective behaviours, anatomy, safer sex, consent, contraception, reproduction and pregnancy.
Where are the sessions held?
The sessions can be delivered face-to-face in the Frank Chats with Alicia clinic in Burwood (NSW), in home (Metropolitan Sydney) or online via Zoom. Please note that face-to-face sessions in home will require additional travel costs and not all locations in Metropolitan Sydney are available for face-to-face sessions. How much are the sessions?
Frank Chats with Alicia is an unregistered NDIS provider, however we can provide services to NDIS participants who are self-managed and plan managed. This service falls under under the NDIS Capacity Building support category - Improved Daily Living (15_613_0128_1_3 Assessment Recommendation Therapy or Training - Developmental Educator).
Frank Chats with Alicia provides professional development opportunities for individuals and organisations about best practice in relationship and sexuality support. Custom workshops and training are available in order to suit individual group needs.
